Once upon a time, BM, Alta, Cravenspeed and a few others made a short shift kit for the 02-03 but slow sales and low demand killed the product....the differences between the 02-03 model and the 04-06 and beyond is different enough that if you want a true short shift kit this is basically the only option. It's basically a copy of the original BM shifter at a lower price. It does the job and is well made.
