SKU 917-315 Replacement METAL oil dipstick; R52/3 "S". Works great and definitely unbreakable. My original dipstick split/cracked, and then the equivalent that my shop supplied ($35) broke immediately. Comparing to the original, appears to be correct length. Slips in and out just fine. Tip is just as challenging to read as the original LOL. Can't beat the price and once again - indestructible. Happy Motoring

Sooner or later your stock Oil Dipstick is likely to crack. Something about the heating and cooling cycles in the engine bay and the material MINI used to manufacturer the factory dipstick combined with the twisting and such associated with using it causes it to crack. We offer the factory MINI replacement dipstick BUT have recently found a aftermarket dipstick that has a metal shaft instead of the fiberglass. This is a perfect solution to the problem.

The Replacement Metal Oil Dipstick is one of the many MINI Cooper Parts and Accessories that we carry and will fit the following MINI Cooper Models and Years:

Gen1 MINI:

R52-S MINI Cooper S Convertible: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008

R53-S MINI Cooper S Hatchback: 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006

R-Fifty WHAT?? Confused about what model MINI you have? We’re here to help. Check this out for more information.

The lights work great and look great too. Much brighter than stock. Pretty easy to install after you get the 2 tabs (top & bottom) on the old lights either compressed or just break them as their not need for install or removal there are 3 screws that mount the lights and seal them from the elements.

I am a Canadian customer and at first I was a little skeptical ordering but after first emailing Aaron, now I just keep coming back! Amazing customer service and shipping is fair for custom/import charges. My #1 shop for anything I'll ever need for the Mini!!!

I am so grateful to these folks! This non-mechanic was able to fix a problem that would have cost a couple of k's to fix at a dealership or mechanic. Aaron and Anthony were able to communicate with me to troubleshoot the issues and parts with me based off of my troubleshooting and error codes I received from my Schwaben (which Aaron referred me to a few years ago). They got the parts to me in a speed I was able to fix my problems before a scheduled shop visit that is always 2-3 weeks out. Now all I need is an oil and break fluid change I don't want to do and a slow leaking valve gasket I need to decide if I want to attempt. I found helpful videos that I'm almost thinking yes. Thanks guys!
Anna M.
