Details

The MINI factory rack base fits perfect and is a exponentially better than aftermarket units. Once you have this base rack you add any factory MINI accessory like bike racks, etc. as well as many attachments from Thule and Yakima (if they have a 'universal fit" clamping style attachment).

This particular rack is available in 2 variants. (see drop down menu)

The most common option (shown installed in the upper image) is the style that connects to the Normal Rain Gutters (actually to the metal behind it for a rock solid connection).

The other option is only designed to be installed if your MINI R55 Clubman has the manufacturer installed roof rails as shown in the lower image. These rails were RARELY opted for on the build sheet.

I just said "GOODBYE" to Bitsy Marie, my 2006 Mini S Convertible. She will be missed. ????
But NOT FOR LONG! Because I just replaced 'ole Bitsy with a brand new MINI CONVERTIBLE S in the new color, "Melting Silver." (Bitsy was BRGreen & I put maroon bonnet stripes on her. I haven't named my new MINI yet, or gotten any accessories. Yet! This looks like a site where I'm gonna have some FUN!
