This was a fairly difficult replacement. You remove the exhaust sensors, turbo heat shield and downpipe heat shield, then the downpipe itself, and finally another heat shield right against the engine block. This oil line isn't shaped like the one that comes out so pay attention to the routing path of the one you remove. Also this oil line has fittings on either end that have to be tightened once the bolts have been installed and you are happy with the hoses position. If you don't tighten then oil sprays everywhere...not that I'd know...and I certainly didn't do it twice. Tightening these fittings is kind of tricky, as you tighten then the preformed ends rotate out of position, you fight it from rotating out but will fail...I really hope these fittings don't break loose while I'm driving down the road, kind of a bad design.

Advantages: The part fits and solves the leaking turbo oil line

Disadvantages: No install instructions left me unaware of the hose end fittings so I got to disassemble the down pipe assembly 3 times...I hope they hold.

This upgraded turbo oil line replaces the MINI stock oil line that is prone to fail at the connection where it enters the top of the turbo. When the stock oil line fails oil goes everywhere and usually causes the turbo to fail due to lack of oil. Even if the stock oil line does not fail abruptly they do slowly start to leak which causes oil to flow onto the turbo and cause a giant mess.

The turbo N14 and N18 motors tend to burn oil and when the stock oil line starts to leak you're going to burn up your turbo and maybe even the engine!

This oil line is substantially better than the stock OEM MINI oil line and has higher quality end fittings as as a more flexible line. To top it off this line costs about 1/2 of what the genuine oil line costs yet is exponentially better!

Buying this kit assumes you will be re using the stock banjo bolts from the block and turbo!

Did a search online for a replacement dome light button for a 2004 mini copper s and was directed toward your site. I was, frankly, shocked by the price listed and wouldn’t be surprised if others had the same reaction, after viewing the price. After swing that outrageous price, for a dome light button, I may have to, seriously, reconsider buying anything from your sight, in light of the fact that I can purchase a, nearly, brand new one- although it’ll be used- for $25, with free shipping. Please, if you will, explain selling a button for $67. That’s, without shipping.

ANSWER from OutMotoring: Hi, yes, this is a insanely high price for such a small item, unfortunately production and other costs define the price as we have to purchase this though the MINI parts network and they sometimes have exceptionally high prices on some items.
