Excellent pieces to complement my other blackout trim. Follow the instructions another guest mentioned. I ended up breaking 2 tabs on one light and 1 on the other, but the trim is held in place without fear of falling off with the remaining tabs.

Another great product and a very easy installation. Just a small tip, use a small flat screwdriver between the light itself and the existing trim to pry them off. This prevents damaging your paintwork. Start with the 2 clips which are closest to the boot lid and work around the trim. Then simply click the new rings in place and make sure they're secure. Great look!

MINI realized the massive trend of blacking out the various chrome bits on their beloved retro-styled funmobile, and now offers these nice black replacement tail light rings for all Gen2 MINI models (aside from the Clubman/Countryman/ Paceman). While there are many that absolutely crave chrome, there are many passionate 'chrome haters'. To those, we welcome you to pick up a set of these Black Taillight rings. These are injection molded from black plastic so there is NO chance for rock chips, and they are a direct replacement for the stock pieces. Snaps into place using existing hardware from your old chrome trim rings. Simply pry off your old taillight rings and snap in these replacement. Sold as a set of 2.

I was a little disappointed after speaking with Aaron today about my order. I placed an order for two items and was sent an email with a tracking number. Got one of the items today as tracking number stated. There was a note in the package that the other item was being shipped from another warehouse. There was no mention of this when I received the email with the tracking number. Then when I contacted Outmotoring about this. Aaron told me he would try and get me a tracking number for the other item.Then could not verify when the item would ship. Would have been nice to know that it would be shipping from some where else in the original email.

Sku: NM.881201B, I bought these rims sometime in 2018, I drive the car only on warm sunny summer days, it doesn’t see rain or snow. That said.. last week my TPMS light came on, my husband took the wheel off and the rim had a 2.5” split in it. Not from hitting anything, it looks like a stress fracture. I’m not sure what caused this or why, just want to say be careful and beware as I’m sure it could be a hazard at certain speeds.
