The Gen2 GP has many design and engineering features that make it much more unique than the Gen1 2006 model. I think MINI realized they had a chance to do something really special and opted to put a higher level of effort into development after seeing how popular the original was. One of the most polarizing features of the new GP is the rear diffuser. Like or not, it truly is one of time tested ways to get better control at high speeds. This style diffuser is seen on nearly every serious high speed race car on the track, and while it will likely not help you on your commute it will pay off on the track. This 5 piece kit includes 2 incredibly strong brackets, left and right diffuser panels and a new rear facial/spoiler that is modified to allow the diffuser panels to nest in properly. Once installed it looks outstanding.

Please note this will ONLY fit if you have the factory JCW rear bumper installed. It will NOT fit on the standard bumper unless you do some DIY trimming and fitting which will likely be very challenging. It CAN fit on the base Cooper IF you have a "S" exhaust and have the JCW rear bumper.

out of the box and snapped right on -- 5 minutes...looks great and goes with the black jack on the roof.

This is a review of the M12 stud conversion kit for the R53 MINI Cooper S. This is the second stud kit that I have installed. The first set was of much lessor quality and was totally worn out within six years of auto-x, track days and winter tire change-over.

These new studs appear to be far superior and slightly longer. I also like the unthreaded portion that allows lining up the nut to help prevent cross threading.

I do have one question; Do you recommend any using any lubrication on the threads of the studs?

There really isn't a better place to buy mini accessories than Out Motoring! They have always been extremely helpful and always send high quality products. I will never buy parts for my mini from anyone else.
