The Gen2 Cooper S comes standard with the front FOG lights mounted in the bumper but were an upgrade option on the Cooper models. While the factory units do what they were designed to, they could perform better. This set of replacement LED projector style lights offer that extra edge in night driving. Sold as a set of two. These are VERY well made and the casing are cast metal so they have some heft to them. The wiring is well engineered and executed. Sold as a set of 2.

These are a straight swap on all Gen2 cars that currently have the "front fog" light option and can be activated by the interior mounted toggle on the toggle panel. When in the 'off' position they will still be on but in a lower output. If you have a base Cooper without the Front Fog light option your MINI SHOULD be wired for them and the harness should be active and would require installing the single toggle and having the dealer activate the fog light feature via a computer reprogram. Cooper (non S) owners that do NOT have the fog light option will need to first buy the OEM lights so you can get the brackets in order to attach these. What is really needed is just the bracket BUT MINI does not sell just the bracket...you have to buy the full light kit for $240 in order to get the brackets to safely install these LED upgraded versions.
