A common issue with MINI over the years has been deformation of the sheet metal that makes up the front strut mount towers. It's common enough that the it's been given a nickname "mushrooming" which occurs over time and will eventually lead to poor alignment specs as well as tire wear. The simple solution is to install the Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates using factory hardware. Installs in about 30 minutes but may require bent or deformed sheet metal to be bent back into shape first. Sold as a set of 2.
