Details

Allows charging for Apple iPhone and iTouch models while that device is connected through the vehicles USB/Audio interface. A must when streaming internet music which tends to deplete the iPhone’s battery fairly quickly. Tested and approved for automotive application. Fits conveniently in the center console storage compartment. Applicable to vehicles with the USB/Audio interface (6FL). Some cars produced from 9/2010 will not be equipped with an audio Y-cable. The white Apple cable may be used on these vehicles for connectivity, but this cable will still not charge the device properly. Therefore, the charging cable is applicable to these vehicles as well.

Basically, IF your MINI has a USB and Headphone jack input near the center console/cupholders on the back side of the storage area you can plug the USB + headphone jack into those locations AND plug in the cigarette lighter in which will then charge your phone. Use a separate USB cable (standard charging cable that works with your phone) + standard headphone extension cable to plug into the other side of the black box to get audio from your phone or ipod to your MINI stereo system.

Just received my latest order for the R56 Gloss black hood scoop. Easy Install and great fit. Only issue is the gloss finish has major swirl scratches. Not sure if this was a return that got put back on the self or came from factory this way.
