The 'force' will against you if you join the dark side and black out your MINI, so you may as well do it right and go all the way with the black theme and pick up a set of these replacement black LED tail lights. If you have not joined the blacked-out-darth-MINI-darth-vader-club, you can make yourself an honorary member just by buying and installing these.

Does not fit 2011 or 2012 MINIs.

07-2010 R56 Hatchback
09-2010 R57 Convertible

Install instructions:

-Remove tail light rings (use a plastic putty knife to gently pop of the ring)
-Unscrew the three screws holding OEM tail light
-Remove harness from OEM tail light
-Remove OEM reverse light bulb and place into LED tail light
-Replace harness into new tail light assembly
-Screw tail light assembly back into place and put tail light ring back in place.
