There is something nice about installing official MINI parts and accessories; they're engineered to fit and perform to the specs defined by MINI and they look great once installed. The JCW Intake for the 2007-2010 (will NOT fit 2011 and newer MINIs) Gen 2 MINI (R55, R56, etc) is no exception. It's a well engineered product that performs with the best of the aftermarket offerings and by some accounts actually out performs some of the aftermarket intakes!
