Keep your shifts in tune with this official John Cooper Works shift light. Colored LED's will let you know when to prepare the shift and when you're about to hit redline. Simple, clean installation using all factory wiring and included assembly. The Shift Indicator features transparent LEDs in a plastic casing. For the gen 1 cars, the shift light assembly mounts on the dash, above the tach. On the Gen 2 MINI it mounts in front of the tach and partially replaces the upper section of the steering column cover. The display can be switched off and on at any time using the integrated button, for example when driving at night or on the motorway at high engine revs.

Note: The engine speed threshold can be set between 3500 rpm and 7250 rpm in steps of 250 rpm.

Gear Shift Indicator is available from 09/2005 and installation time is approx. 1.0 hour.
