O2 sensors are notorious for failing and generally it happens when you are least prepared and while there are a few aftermarket solutions out there we have heard numerous complaints that non OEM replacement Oxygen Sensors for the MINI Cooper are worth buying.

Please note on their are 2 O2 sensors on the MINI Cooper Header. There is one before the Catalytic Converter and one AFTER the cat. In some cases only has failed but it has to know so it may be best to replace both unless you are certain.
