The Carbon Fiber Rear Upper Stress Bar is a great addition to every MINI, especially those that are used for autocross or racing. Even though the MINI is short and stout there is still a fair amount of movement in the rear chassis. Installing this brace is a great way to increase rigidity and reduce chassis flex. Installs in minutes using factory mounting locations and replacing the two rear seat latches with the included bracket and cross bar. With this bar installed the rear seats will basically be offset by about 1.5" which makes them stand a bit more vertical but the benefit is well worth it.
