Craven Speed is at the top of my list when it comes to innovation, quality in house production and top quality parts. This intake is no exception and is quite possibly the most advanced intake on the market. Built using lightweight aluminum which has a better insulative capacity, is lighter, less expensive than steel. The redesigned Craven Speed intake weighs a total of only 3.43 lbs, compared with their old steel version at 6.2 lbs. Craven Speed uses a special powder coat process that maximizes surface area to aid in insulation while providing corrosion resistance which yields a undeniably great intake.

A see through top panel that is easily removable allows the driver to see when the GIANT Unifilter Brand foam air filter is ready to be cleaned and reinstalled (over and over and over...). Having the top cover in position creates a 'sealed' off area that allows mostly cool air to flow into the air filter housing which, as we all know creates more power than hot air.
