Cravenspeed Gauge FlexPod Individual Parts

Okay, so this may be a little confusing. Trust us, this is by far the most innovative aftermarket part for the MINI I have seen to date. Basically Cravenspeed has a solution the MINI owner who wants to add a Navigation Unit, Gauge or Ipod to their Cooper or Cooper S with or without Navigation or the Chrono Pack (Generation 1 MINI). Simply start with a base rail of choice and you first accessory add you're off. If you wan to add onto the system at a later date, it's as easy as buying additional accessories.

All modules fit all Base Rails and vice versa so you can't go wrong but you have to select if you have 'normal' gauges or your Gen 1 MINI has the Chrono Pack or Navigation option (brackets have a Right and Left orientation as noted in the drop down menu). The Generation 1 and Generation 2 MINI's have different base rails too. The whole process is reversible, and the pieces are all modular; so you can remove the whole thing or any one of the parts at any time. Once installed, the Bracket X provides two 1/4-20 threaded mounting points, one on each of the lower corners of the tach. These mounting points are able to accept any of the FlexPod modules.

Bracket ZL/R: (left or right specific): This works for only first generation (R50, R52, R53) Navigation and Chrono equipped MINI. Once you have installed one of our FlexPod mounting brackets on your vehicle, you have a enormous amount of possibilities. The Bracket Z mounts harmlessly behind your tachometer/speedometer and provides a mounting point for our variety of modules. You can mount one Bracket ZR and one ZL to create two mounting points.

Bracket X: (has left and right accessory locations) This works for only first generation (R50, R52, R53) 2002-06 Hatchback or 04-08 Convertible WITHOUT Nav or Chrono Pack.

Bracket A: (has left and right accessory locations) This works for only second generation MINI's(R55, R56, R57). Mounts the accessories lower in comparison to bracket W.

Bracket W: (has left and right accessory locations) This works for only second generation MINI's(R55, R56, R57).

Bracket R: (has ONLY right accessory location) This works for only second generation MINI's(R55, R56, R57).

Bracket L: (has ONLY left accessory location) This works for only second generation MINI's(R55, R56, R57). This is ideal for adding the NUVI navigation adapter or a single gauge on the left. Remember the keyfob slot is on the right side and may interfere.

Once you have installed one of the FlexPod mounting brackets on your vehicle, you have a enormous amount of possibilities. The brackets and modules are all designed to go together, so choose any two that you like.

If you have Navigation or Chrono on your Gen 1 MINI you can use JUST the Dual pod and mount it between the 2 steering column mounted gauges OR the single 52mm on the left or right.

If you do NOT have Nav or Chrono your options are nearly endless. First you will need to Base Rail which bolts to the back of the Tach. From there you can add Single 52mm Pods, Dual 52mm Pods, Ipod Nano or Standard Ipod Mounts or any combination to get what you need. There's a receptacle on both the left right sides (on most base rails)once you have the base rail installed, so the rest is up to your imagination. Of course if you have Nav or Chrono on your Gen 1 MINI you are a bit limited.
