This Blue Support Pad and Wax or Polish removal bonnets (sold separately) are one of the best ways to quickly remove wax and polish from your paint when used with the Griots Random Orbit Polisher. This system removes about 95% of the polish and wax. For a final detail and enhanced clarity, just lightly spray the surface with water, Speed Shine®, or Griots Garage Spray-On Wax and buff out with 100% Cotton Buffing Cloths or Micro Fiber Cloths.

Be sure to use the Blue Support Pad as it is designed specifically to accept the removal bonnets and keeps them in place while you are working. Place the bonnet (sold separately) over the pad, set your machine to low, and watch the polish and wax disappear. Do not use the bonnets on direct drive polishers or any orbital other than the Griots Orbital without the Griots Blue support pad or damage can occur due to heat build up. Polish bonnets come in a three set pack as you'll need to use all three for a normal size vehicle as the polish and wax builds up on the pad during use. Rinse clean with water or machine wash using warm water and then air dry. For the best clean, use our Micro Fiber Cleaner.
