After years of waiting for MINI to develop a armrest, they've followed through with a fantastic product. A factory option yet it's a great addition to any MINI that missed it at the factory. Retrofitting requires replacing the center console (included in the price for Gen 1 MINI's. See note below for Gen 2 MINI's). The top pad of the Armrest is a sliding door that holds smaller items like cell phones and keys. A nice feature is that the whole armrest pivots back to allow access to seat belt clip and rear cup holder.

This is great designed and engineered product and is well worth the expense. In fact it's shocking that they got it down to the price they have it at considering the list of parts that are included in the kit. Very straightforward install should take about 1 hour or so with basic tools. Looks like a lot of work but it's actually pretty intuitive and anyone with basic hand tools and some common sense should be able to install it. Available in both charcoal grey/anthracite or silver to match your MINI's dash color. Image shows silver. If you select Anthracite, everything you see that is silver will be anthracite in color. The console, mounting hardware and arm pad are dark grey and are included in the price.

If your 2008 or newer MINI has a ONE piece center console; meaning that there is NO separate part for the rear cupholder that is butted up against the main center console, please let us know. You will need the revised 2 piece console to make this armrest fit.
