This is the revised edition (3rd edition with the extra info like trouble codes and newer bits of info for the convertible that were not in the 2nd edition) of the very popular Bentley Service manual for the Gen 1 MINI's and is by far the most comprehensive book available on repairing the MINI. The others on the market are usually about 1/2 or 1/3 the cost of this and generally have about 10% the content. For example, the Haynes manual will say something like this when referring to replacing a gasket "take the engine out and replace the gasket". Hello, what kind of useless advice is that? This manual has numerous photos with explanations that are very thorough as well as references to OEM tools and other critical information to get your MINI fixed right without the guess work.
