While MINI makes a part similar to this, their part is a complete replacement mechanism with the light, release switch and all that business and takes a bit of time to instal. This simple stick on part looks pretty good compared to the OEM part and takes a fraction of the time to install and costs considerably less. 3M adhesive backing makes for a quick install and durable injection molded ABS is super durable.
