The stock roll bars on the Convertible are black and they're kinda boring looking. This pair of replacement chrome trim covers are straight from MINI and are a perfect fit. They are actual replacements for the set that are in the car from the factory. Priced as a set of 2 (actually 4 pieces).

Instructions: Open the roof and fold the back seats down. At the back of the headrests there is a small plug pop that out with a small flat screw driver- behind it is a screw (torx) that holds the headrest on. Undo the screw to remove the headrest. Inside, where the headrest sits you will find two clips- use a screw driver to release - it may be best to have an extra set of hands as it is easier to get one person to release while the other person is prying, with a bit of force you can open the bottom cover enough to release the cover you want to replace. Remove the old cover open by using a screw driver then simply snap the new covers in place.

The Chrome Roll Bar Cover Set: R52 is one of the many MINI Cooper Parts and Accessories that we carry and will fit the following MINI Cooper Models and Years:

Got a set of these as opposed to going the "Autostrap" direction as mentioned in many of the forums. They were a snap to put on and were a perfect fit. Thanks guys for putting them on your list!

I just said "GOODBYE" to Bitsy Marie, my 2006 Mini S Convertible. She will be missed. ????
But NOT FOR LONG! Because I just replaced 'ole Bitsy with a brand new MINI CONVERTIBLE S in the new color, "Melting Silver." (Bitsy was BRGreen & I put maroon bonnet stripes on her. I haven't named my new MINI yet, or gotten any accessories. Yet! This looks like a site where I'm gonna have some FUN!

I am so grateful to these folks! This non-mechanic was able to fix a problem that would have cost a couple of k's to fix at a dealership or mechanic. Aaron and Anthony were able to communicate with me to troubleshoot the issues and parts with me based off of my troubleshooting and error codes I received from my Schwaben (which Aaron referred me to a few years ago). They got the parts to me in a speed I was able to fix my problems before a scheduled shop visit that is always 2-3 weeks out. Now all I need is an oil and break fluid change I don't want to do and a slow leaking valve gasket I need to decide if I want to attempt. I found helpful videos that I'm almost thinking yes. Thanks guys!
Anna M.
