Details

While you can technically get Yakima and Thule and other aftermarket racks on the MINI, they just look out of place. Trust me, I have one and just loathe looking at it. The MINI factory rack base fits perfect and is a exponentially better looking part, especially when installed. Once you have this base rack you add any factory MINI accessory like bike racks, etc. as well as many attachments from Thule and Yakima (if a 'universal fit" clamping style attachment). The R56 MINI (starting with the 2007 Hatchback) rack attaches to the rain gutters (with a nice substantial connection) like the aftermarket racks (but with a better connection) and the MINI feet are better visually integrated and carry similar styling cues as the car itself for a unified appearance.

I was a little disappointed after speaking with Aaron today about my order. I placed an order for two items and was sent an email with a tracking number. Got one of the items today as tracking number stated. There was a note in the package that the other item was being shipped from another warehouse. There was no mention of this when I received the email with the tracking number. Then when I contacted Outmotoring about this. Aaron told me he would try and get me a tracking number for the other item.Then could not verify when the item would ship. Would have been nice to know that it would be shipping from some where else in the original email.

ANSWER from OutMotoring: Hi, we send a order confirmation immediately after each order is placed and then another email with tracking as soon as it ships. Maybe our emails are stuck in a spam filter and are not getting to you?
