Given that it has been on backorder since Jan of 2007, I have made this unavailable. If, at some time, MINI releases it from backorder, I will make it available to purchase again. As an industrial designer by trade I appreciate this watch for not only how it looks but for how it works. The MINI Motion watch was designed by Yves Behar (most likely with the help of the design staff as well); owner of 'fuseproject' Industrial Design firm and it is easy to see that a great amount of design and engineering went into making this watch what it is. It was designed as part of a family of products called the 'MINI Motion' line that for some reason MINI felt the need to separate from their other branded products and as a result gets little to no retail action. Some of the other products in the line were a jacket, passenger seat messenger bag (that clipped into the seat belt) and a few vastly overpriced t shirts. While the other stuff did not do so well, this watch has rissen to the top. Some of the design cues from the MINI come through in the design of the watch such as the rounded rectangle roof which is reflected in the shape of the face. The green LED Digital display can be rotated 90 degrees to fit your style, while spring steel band coated in soft matte finish Charcoal Blue OR Black rubber keeps it in place. This is high end design at its best. Consider it sculpture for your wrist.
