Over time, the pollen filter/interior cabin air filter in your MINI gets nasty and just like like the filters in your home need to be replaced. When you take your car in for service MINI typically does not mention replace it for you but it is so easy to do you would most likely not want to pay someone to do it for you anyways. It's most likely up to you to replace the interior filter every 25-30K miles depending on the quality of air, your surroundings, etc. To get to it just reach under the glove box unhook the trap door that releases the filter. The new one slides into place in seconds and you're off. Please note, this is a Carbon Charged Interior Pollen Filter for the MINI but we also have a 'standard' aftermarket filter available.
