Even though the MINI is short and stout there is still a fair amount of movement in the rear chasiss. Installing this brace is a great way to increase rigidity and reduce chasiss flex. Installs in minutes using factory mounting locations and replacing the two rear seat latches with the included bracket and cross bar. With this bar installed the rear seats will basically be offset by about 1.5" which makes them stand a bit more vertical but the benefit is well worth it.
