Our local friend Mark came by one day with his (very nice) black Cooper S to show us his blacked out beltline (the chrome strip that runs around the car right where the windows transition into the body panels) that he had just installed. It looked amazing so we decided to offer a similar kit to our customers. This black film covers the stock chrome trim and is nearly identical to the texture and color of the black moldings. The width is perfect to cover the trim just right leaving your car with a little less bling. Kit includes enough film to do one car with a few inches for testing. Applies just like any masking tape. Please note once installed the special protective clear top layer (on top of the black) needs to be removed.

Please note on the Gen 2 MINI, the beltline grew (yes, it did get fatter) in both directions as a result the tape is slightly wider so please select the correct model.

On the image above the part of the beltline that is black is our kit, while the trim on the right is what is looks like without it.

HINT: if ordering this by itself you may consider using USPS Priority mail as it will be about 1/2 of what UPS charges!! Simply select "other carriers" at the shipping option page to get USPS. After about 2 lbs UPS is typically cheaper but this lightweight product is easy to ship priority mail.
