If you really dig the look of the factory MINI driving lights but don't want to pay the 'MINI' price tag that comes with them then these are for you. Similar brackets and, in my opinion, better quality lights make this system very competitive. Another bonus is that the wiring harness does not require a PHD in electrical engineering to install. I installed a set of the PIAA lights on our MINI Cooper S project car in less than 1 hour and 45 minutes. Install was very easy and the instructions were very thorough. The power switch that mounts inside the car is an oval shape with a flat button on the front and has a double stick surface on the back which allows it to be mounted nearly anywhere.

Comes with removable plastic grills. Yes, they do come off!! PIAA shows the wiring using a hot wire from the factory High beam, so the driving lights can only be turned on when the high beams are on, but you can simply run that wire to the battery which would allow them to turned on anytime and along with both the low and the high beam or by themselves. Should you want to run a 4 light setup you can purchase two sets as there is enough room to mount two sets of brackets on the Gen 1 MINI.
