Ahhh, there's something nice about the sound of a turbo. Lets face it. Getting any sort of decent power upgrade from the factory MINI S Turbo is extremely challenging and expensive.The Gen2 MINI Turbo engine takes large chunks of money to get substantial power gains. The smaller investments like intakes, hoses, tubes, etc etc. just don't deliver when it comes to return on investment. You have to drop some cash to get results. Intercooler: $750. Exhaust: $1,100. Turbo: $ cha-ching. You can work your way up to the turbo or just commit to it and bust out your wallet. The smiles will come later. Description:
The JMTCs Extreme GTD47 upgrade high pressure high-flow dual scrolling turbo uses a huge 47mm compressor to give you full boost at the top end. This turbocharger delivers high torque and high boost at the higher RPM which is perfect for the track, or any off-road application and extreme street applications. The 47mm and huge GTX exhaust turbine is designed to give you extra boost at the top end.  The huge high flow GTX exhaust helps the exhaust flow and prevents the torque loss you see with the small stock K03 turbine. If you are looking for an extreme track, strip dominating, extreme street  upgrade that delivers full race performance this is the turbo for you. It will deliver great torque, and last longer than any other turbo on the market. For all applications we recommend one of our aftermarket exhaust systems which will allow this turbo to reach its full potential.

Notes:
-Recommend one degree colder or JCW spark plugs  (not recommended Bosch or Beru).
- Recommend high flow exhaust
- In order to get the full warranty the factory oil line will need to replaced with the upgraded oil line linked here.
- This turbo will require a custom ECU tune in order to function as designed. We have found that Revolution MINI Works has the best option for this.
