Great quality shift knob that I got from this website 2 years ago. The one sent was silver instead of black, though. I don't even see an option for silver. I used it anyway and it still looks great.

Shift knobs take abuse and they are often the first to fall apart, followed by floormats and seat bolsters. Now is the time to replace it and give your MINI a fresh start with a replacement factory MINI shift knob. Available in 6 speed pattern for the Cooper S. Features leather lower section and chrome top section.

In order to remove the old one, just get a good grip on it and pull straight UP until it pops off the stock shift lever. There are no mechanical fasteners; just a heavy duty friction fit. Installs the same way.
