Purchased here. Installed upon new 2013 Hardtop delivery. Terrific looks and easy for dealer to install. Slats are covered in clear plastic sheath instead of chromed plastic sheath. Appears very dark black under most lighting angles but under others reflections give "gray" streaks which is also nice. Highly recommend if you think the standard is too much chrome. Looks good even with lower grille chrome strip. That part is much harder to replace.

IMPORTANT: This grill will NOT fit the Base Cooper 07-2010 model! It WILL fit all 2011 and newer Gen2 Cooper R55. R56, R57, R58 and R59 models.

If you want to get rid of the stock chrome "slat" style grill, this is one of the best options on the market. It's glossy black. It's cool. It's OEM, so it fits just right. To install: Open hood, and pull out the 4 plastic heads from the 4 round plastic inserts along the top edge of the existing grill flange. Pull directly OUTWARD on the lower grill trim and squeeze the 4 V shaped tabs to release grill from the bumper. Bam, you're done (aside from putting the new one on!!)

Replacing the puddle lights on my 2010 R56 with Ringed Mini Wings has been the highlight of my You-ification. There are ridiculously fun to see, as well as being very bright and easy to install. Every Mini should have these!

So happy I found this store. I order a grill for my R56-S and shipping was fast. I did how ever had the wrong trim (completely my fault) I called and they hooked me up with the right ones right away. Costumer service was excellent. He even hooked me up with the clips for my grill!! ill definitely will be continue buying from there.
