Details

While you can technically get Yakima and Thule and other aftermarket racks on the MINI, they just look out of place. Trust me, I have one and just loathe looking at it. The MINI factory rack base fits perfect and is a exponentially better looking part, especially when installed. Once you have this base rack you add any factory MINI accessory like bike racks, etc. as well as many attachments from Thule and Yakima (if a 'universal fit" clamping style attachment). This particular rack is designed to be installed if your MINI has the manufacturer/factory installed side rails as shown installed on the Green MINI. This rack CANNOT be installed unless you have those black luggage rails installed by the factory. The luggage/universal attachment shown is NOT included.

I have 2009 JCW (R56) and have done a lot of work on it...and unfortunately it needs a lot of work as a cost for the fun.

I am local to Outmotoring and I am very thankful they are so responsive. They can often get parts same day and the prices are very competitive to the big online retailers and ebay. They have gotten me out of a jam more than once...and I can return parts that I did not need.

I have visited them numerous times and they have a nice showroom and top-notch operation. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
