This is by far one of the best looking yet functional additions that can be made to the MINI R55 rear spoiler (exactly like the image shown). Simple yet elegant and refined. Ships in primer grey ready to be painted to match your MINI. ONLY fits on the R55 S model spoiler or R56 Base Cooper models that have the R55 type spoiler exactly as shown. Requires epoxy to attach to factory spoiler. Shown painted black for reference only.

I had a bit of disappointment today when my new hitch arrived - it was not the correct model for my car.
In retrospect, I looked back at the ordering page and found that it was my mistake but I could see why. I searched for a hitch for a Mini-S R53 and it took me to a 1001 which is for a non-S R50. The model numbers for the hitches and the cars they match up with were at the very bottom of the page, which I didn't see when ordering. It would have been very helpful if the drop-down menu had not just the hitch model number (1003) but the car model as well (R50, R53...) to help avoid this confusion.
It cost me return shipping and another week or more of wait. Not fun.

I dropped by OutMotoring with my wife today to check it out after giving her a 2015 Mini Paceman last week. Aaron and Meghan took a lot of interest in us as new customers. We were invited to come back to the warehouse and invited to view all the available Mini parts and items. We selected some accessories and were very pleased with the selection and quality of the items we purchased. So as a mini enthusiast, of course I try to do the up keep myself. I broke a bolt replacing the rubber gasket on the valve cover. 2 places on this earth have it. Here and of course mini dealers. Mini dealers have no interest in replacing parts in my 2011 mini cooper. They want me to buy a new one.
I was happy to buy the parts right here, have them shipped out and arrive in 3 days. Well done you lot for helping the regular weekend car mechanics.
