This is a great pad for the occasional racer (handful of times a season) who still drives his car on a regular basis and wants a nicely performing street pad. Hawk Performance HPS Ferro-Carbon compound brake pads provide advanced braking characteristics to enhance the driving experience. Hawk Performance HPS pads offer 20-40% more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most original equipment or standard replacement pads. This makes them more responsive and durable than most standard original brakes and makes Hawk Performance HPS a great way to increase the stopping power of your MINI. As standard brake pads wear, brake dust is released as the friction material wears in everyday braking. Hawk Performance HPS brake pads are formulated to run cleaner and release extremely low levels of dust in normal street driving.

These are a good upgrade from the stock pad and offer a good amount of brake performance. These are also a low dust pad. If you want to go with a slightly more aggressive but still street-able pad, check out the Hawk Ceramic pads which are designed for more aggressive street driving and more frequent autocross and weekend race events.

Please see the option for JCW / Brembo Big Brake Kit on the drop down list. The rear pads are the same as other models. These are for the new style JCW BBK that came out in mid to late 2008. Most aftermarket REAR pads do NOT have a location for the rear sensor including Hawk, Mintex, sp Performance, ATE and many others. Because the rear sensor was not added until 2004 after most companies had made their molds they simply did not update them and have yet to do so. Because the front pads nearly always wear out first, this tends to not be a problem because the front sensor will trip first. Occasional inspection of the rear pads will help reduce the risk of running them into the metal. If you have a 2004 or newer MINI please tie back the existing sensor with a zip tie when re assembling your brakes.

Thanks guys! I know that my first order was a small one but it was a really big deal for my Mini Clubman S.

After getting my new tires installed the Wheel Well Cover came off leaving the wires exposed to objects coming of the road. If you live in the big city like I do, that is a really big deal. Potholes, construction debris and junk can ruin tires never mind the damage that cam be done to exposed well openings.

I ordered my new cover and it was here in two days!
