This is the newest version of these lights that have a Halo type ring which look very good. The Gen2 Cooper S comes standard with the front FOG lights mounted in the bumper but were an upgrade option on the Cooper models. While the factory units do what they were designed to, they could perform better. This set of replacement LED projector style lights offer that extra edge in night driving. Sold as a set of two. These are VERY well made and the casing are cast metal so they have some heft to them. The wiring is well engineered and executed. Sold as a set of 2.

These do require the removal of the front bumper and they do NOT include the bulbs! The installer will need to purchase bulbs of your preference before installation.

These are a straight swap on all Gen2 cars that currently have the "front fog" light option and can be activated by the interior mounted toggle on the toggle panel. When in the 'off' position they will still be on but in a lower output. If you have a base Cooper without the Front Fog light option your MINI SHOULD be wired for them and the harness should be active and would require installing the single toggle and having the dealer activate the fog light feature via a computer reprogram. Cooper (non S) owners that do NOT have the fog light option will need to first buy 2 of this part # 63129807305 in order to attach these. Just add a note or email us and we can get these brackets for you.

Turned OFF the DRL in the SETTINGS menu on the MINI. Result: LED Lights come on with headlights, go off with headlights. Never wanted DRL in the first place so no lights during the daytime. LED are on with low and high beam. Fog lights still kick off when hi-beams are used.

I have purchased your stage 1 speed upgrade and the results are amazing.
Next I plan to add the header & exhaust. Also the brake upgrade.
Thank you for your research and advice.
I think it would be helpful if you also added a suspension replacement/upgrade option like your speed upgrades.
I am a pretty much amateur with all the products available, and as an owner of a 2008 convertible S will be needing to replace these components soon.
Please provide upgrade options.
