Once you've upgraded the exhaust system on your MINI, it's time to replace the restrictive factory down pipe. The Milltek down pipe is yet another great option to consider along with the Akrapovic. It's beautifully crafted from high quality stainless steel and has a nice high flow cat. You will likely get a check engine light especially if you have other mods like an exhaust, etc but the benefits are well worth it.
