Ahhh, there's something nice about the sound of a turbo. Lets face it. Getting any sort of decent power upgrade from the factory MINI S Turbo is extremely challenging and expensive.The Gen2 MINI Turbo engine takes large chunks of money to get substantial power gains. The smaller investments like intakes, hoses, tubes, etc etc. just don't deliver when it comes to return on investment. You have to drop some cash to get results. Intercooler: $750. Exhaust: $1,100. Turbo: $ cha-ching. You can work your way up to the turbo or just commit to it and bust out your wallet. The smiles will come later. Turbocharger rebuilds get a complete overhaul including replacement of all internal wearable items such as Turbine Shaft Bearings and Steel Thrust Plates. After the rebuild all internal components are triple balance which is one step better then the manufacturer's dual balance process. Any components that do not meet stringent standards will be replaced.
