Details

The Spec line of clutches offer great solutions for every type of driving as well as all ranges of modifications from mild to wild. MINI Cooper owners who are burning through clutches will want to consider the Spec clutch as an upgrade to the factory clutch which tend to wear out prematurely. If you're not looking for a aggressive clutch but want to take a step up from the factory clutch you will want to consider the Stage 1 or Stage 2 Clutch but if you have some performance mods on your MINI you will likely want to get into a Stage 2, 2+ or even a 4 at the high end. The Stage 5 Clutch is more or less a drag clutch and will be very hard to live with if you do mostly street driving.

Stage 1: Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Drift, Road Race, Rallye, Pulling, Autocross Features an integrally molded carbon kevlar-based, high performance organic lining that offers smooth engagement and excellent life. This lining has an integrally bonded steel backing for strength under high clamp loads and temperatures. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Best for street and many track/off-road applications.

 Stage 2: Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross Features segmented or full faced pure Kevlar disc with steel backing. This lining features excellent drivability like the stage 1, but offers slightly longer life and higher torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Best for street, drag, pulling and autocross.

Stage 2+: Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross Features a full-metallic disc with the highest possible friction co-efficient. Street drivable but not street-friendly. The hub is solid 12-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. Best for extreme street and drag racing.

Stage 3: Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross Features segmented or full faced pure Kevlar disc with steel backing. This lining features excellent driveability like the stage 1, but offers slightly longer life and higher torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Best for street, drag, pulling and autocross.

Stage 3+: Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross Features a multi-friction disc in a full faced configuration with carbon semi-metallic on one side and Kevlar on the other. Bridging the gap between stage 2 and stage 3, the 2+ offers drivability and engagement quality characteristic of the stage 2, but with a 15-20% higher torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Great for street, drag, autocross, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift.

Stage 4: Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross Features a carbon semi-metallic 6 puck sprung hub disc that has been the leading puck clutch in driveability, life and torque capacity. This unit is designed for street and race cars that require an aggressive but streetable engagement and high torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Also available in 3 puck configuration. Great for street, drag, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift.

Hello, My order #xxxxx. I was very happy with the quick delivery. I checked the contents-then put the box aside. When "life 's other stuff" got handled, I looked through the box again and saw the blue fob strip. First I thought it was added in error & was thinking "Crap, how do I get this back to them?" Then I saw the note from Chris. I wanted to get back and let you know how much I appreciated that. So kudos to the company and everyone that handled my order.

Did a search online for a replacement dome light button for a 2004 mini copper s and was directed toward your site. I was, frankly, shocked by the price listed and wouldn’t be surprised if others had the same reaction, after viewing the price. After swing that outrageous price, for a dome light button, I may have to, seriously, reconsider buying anything from your sight, in light of the fact that I can purchase a, nearly, brand new one- although it’ll be used- for $25, with free shipping. Please, if you will, explain selling a button for $67. That’s, without shipping.

ANSWER from OutMotoring: Hi, yes, this is a insanely high price for such a small item, unfortunately production and other costs define the price as we have to purchase this though the MINI parts network and they sometimes have exceptionally high prices on some items.
