I removed the muffler and realized there is no reduction in tube size through the muffler. it is a 100% continuous diamter pipe with holes to the outside chamger. The picture's of the muffler you may see on the internet show the internals crushed to look smaller. Sorry, but I gotta call it like it is.

Alta understands the importance of performance AND style when it comes to modding your MINI Cooper. This product encompasses an excellent balance of both! The 5-ply silicone tubing is available in both black and red. The glossy exterior surface dresses up the engine bay for your next show 'n shine or just for your enjoyment during your next oil change. Speaking of smooth, the ultra smooth interior surfaces of each tube remove intake restriction that can otherwise hinder performance. Your car uses a turbocharger to force air into the motor, so any corrugation, dips, pits etc. all choke the efficiency of the turbo system. Additionally, your MINI came with a ridiculous muffler section on the hot side of the intercooler plumbing. This muffler literally robs the car of power. The Boost Tube removes that muffler and makes a smooth transition from the turbo outlet directly into the intercooler. Available in RED or BLACK- see drop down menu.

Customers' comments

I left a comment on my last order hinting at throwing in a license plate frame for me. I didnt know whether to expect one or not but you guys came through! I appreciate that, thank you.

I installed the Cravenspeed "Big Pair"today. Huge difference, just what the F56 chassis needed. Well made and very easy to install.

Sku: NM.881201B, I bought these rims sometime in 2018, I drive the car only on warm sunny summer days, it doesn’t see rain or snow. That said.. last week my TPMS light came on, my husband took the wheel off and the rim had a 2.5” split in it. Not from hitting anything, it looks like a stress fracture. I’m not sure what caused this or why, just want to say be careful and beware as I’m sure it could be a hazard at certain speeds.
