The Spec line of clutches offer great solutions for every type of driving as well as all ranges of modifications from mild to wild. MINI Cooper owners who are burning through clutches will want to consider the Spec clutch as an upgrade to the factory clutch which tend to wear out prematurely. If you're not looking for a aggressive clutch but want to take a step up from the factory clutch you will want to consider the Stage 1 or Stage 2 Clutch but if you have some performance mods on your MINI you will likely want to get into a Stage 2, 2+ or even a 4 at the high end. The Stage 5 Clutch is more or less a drag clutch and will be very hard to live with if you do mostly street driving.
Stage 1: Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Drift, Road Race, Rallye, Pulling, Autocross
Features an integrally molded carbon kevlar-based, high performance organic lining that offers smooth engagement and excellent life. This lining has an integrally bonded steel backing for strength under high clamp loads and temperatures. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Great for street, drag, autocross, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift.

Great for street, drag, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift.
