Aero Grill Kit

This is the grill kit that is part of the Aero Body kit which is an option on the Gen 1 MINIs. It is by far the most popular grill kit we offer and for a good reason. They look great.

The kit is two parts, an upper grill (bonnet) and a lower grill (lip of the bumper). These pieces are available for purchase together or separately for those who don't want to mess with the install of the lower grill. The upper one is a dead simple bolt-on replacement that may take 5-10 minutes. However, the lower piece requires modification to the grill (which all said and done is about a 1.5 hour job), so it fits the stock Cooper or Cooper S bumper. The lower grill was designed to fit the Aero Front bumper which has completely different geometry where the grill insets into the bumper but it can be modified to fit. Why MINI chose to make it so different between the two bumpers is beyond me, but that is how it is.
