Fit my 2012 Hatchback S perfectly. Installation was easy. I ordered extra clips and screws since the ones holding my stock chrome trim were broken. I did not need them, however, as this came with new clips and I reused the old screws.

This is a great looking product, however, It does NOT! fit 2007 R56 factory bumpers. Cars with JCW bumpers only fit this trim.

Details

Ditch the chrome and replace it with this molded black grill trim kit (solid BLACK plastic material!). Installs in about 3 minutes using a screwdriver. This is the official trim from the John Cooper Works body kit but will work with the stock grill as a replacement for the chrome trim surround that comes stock on MINI cooper S models with the STANDARD or JCW front bumper.

Will not fit on the AERO front bumper. This trim also looks great with the JCW Grill that has the elongated hex pattern (check our site).

***Please note this version only fits the Cooper S. We also offer a version for the base Cooper (search our website).****

*To install, simply open the hood and remove the screws and 2 nuts on the backside of the upper trim. Next, pull outward on the lower grill trim as it is only held in place by some small tabs. Once that is removed you will simply install the new trim.

**The LOWER grill trim will NOT fit the 'Aero-kit' front bumper. Sorry!!

*** If you are buying this kit and you have a Cooper BUT have the JCW body kit you CAN make it work but you will need to select "COOPER S" instead of Cooper because the JCW bumper design uses a "S" style bumper.

Replacing the puddle lights on my 2010 R56 with Ringed Mini Wings has been the highlight of my You-ification. There are ridiculously fun to see, as well as being very bright and easy to install. Every Mini should have these!
