Details

These are by far some of the coolest lights around. When in the off setting the front lens appears to be black or dark smoked, but when you flip the switch you get the full clarity of Hella's finest driving lights. The Hella 500 is a nice sized light and I would consider them to be a good choice to be mounted in front of the grill as well as down low. They are lighter than most lamps that are similar size so they can even be mounted on the Gen1 MINI using the factory driving light brackets that mount through the upper grill. We have those available in our lighting section. If you want to mount them down low in the radiator grill opening, we have a nice set of adjustable brackets available, too.

2 H3 12V55W bulbs rocker switch installation parts & ready-to-use wiring system with in-line fuse for added circuit protection. Does not include mounting brackets.

I had a bit of disappointment today when my new hitch arrived - it was not the correct model for my car.
In retrospect, I looked back at the ordering page and found that it was my mistake but I could see why. I searched for a hitch for a Mini-S R53 and it took me to a 1001 which is for a non-S R50. The model numbers for the hitches and the cars they match up with were at the very bottom of the page, which I didn't see when ordering. It would have been very helpful if the drop-down menu had not just the hitch model number (1003) but the car model as well (R50, R53...) to help avoid this confusion.
It cost me return shipping and another week or more of wait. Not fun.

In this "internet age" we find ourselves searching for the best price we can find. All the while not thinking about the "value" of customer service. Is an extra dollar or two in your pocket worth bad service? The answer is no!
