Skipped the little check box at the time you ordered your MINI and now the back of you car looks a bit silly? That would be the "Rear Fog Light" option check box that seemed to not matter at the time and now there's a cheap looking filler plate that doesn't even match the rear grill and looks out of place. Now is the time to replace that filler plate with the official Red Lens kit from MINI. This light simply pops into place in about 30 seconds and look great. While making the light actually work is a fairly large project which requires a new toggle panel, a trip to dealer to get them to program the car, some other annoying mods and more cash, this kit is ONLY the single red light as shown but we do offer the toggle switch needed as an option.

You can get crafty and tap into the rear brake light wiring and turn them into extra brake lights or if you really want to we can special we offer the extra toggle switches (see drop down menu) as well but do not guarantee that it work due to programming limitations.

Please note: For Gen 2, this will NOT fit the 2011 and newer Coopers. There is a new rear bumper design with different rear lens on the 2011's.

So as a mini enthusiast, of course I try to do the up keep myself. I broke a bolt replacing the rubber gasket on the valve cover. 2 places on this earth have it. Here and of course mini dealers. Mini dealers have no interest in replacing parts in my 2011 mini cooper. They want me to buy a new one.
I was happy to buy the parts right here, have them shipped out and arrive in 3 days. Well done you lot for helping the regular weekend car mechanics.
