I purchased the cowl set for my 07 Cooper S Hatchback as the stock set sealing was badly deteriorated. The install was simple except for the drivers side winshield wiper took a lot of effort to finally get off the wiper post. The net cowl set looks excellent, fit perfectly and makes the car look newer too.

In 2007, MINI launched its Generation 2 starting with a re-vamp of the original R50 and R53 S.

R56 S

From here on, MINI has consistently released the Cooper and Cooper S versions of each model under the same R series designations. The 2nd Gen MINI Cooper and Cooper S Hatchback maintain a few Gen 1 features, including two doors, a rear hatch, and front and rear seats. However, it branches into a re-engineered platform incorporating many stylistic and engineering changes. The use of a new engine makes the Gen 2 more cost-effective and fuel-efficient.
