SKU 917-315 Replacement METAL oil dipstick; R52/3 "S". Works great and definitely unbreakable. My original dipstick split/cracked, and then the equivalent that my shop supplied ($35) broke immediately. Comparing to the original, appears to be correct length. Slips in and out just fine. Tip is just as challenging to read as the original LOL. Can't beat the price and once again - indestructible. Happy Motoring

Did a search online for a replacement dome light button for a 2004 mini copper s and was directed toward your site. I was, frankly, shocked by the price listed and wouldn’t be surprised if others had the same reaction, after viewing the price. After swing that outrageous price, for a dome light button, I may have to, seriously, reconsider buying anything from your sight, in light of the fact that I can purchase a, nearly, brand new one- although it’ll be used- for $25, with free shipping. Please, if you will, explain selling a button for $67. That’s, without shipping.

ANSWER from OutMotoring: Hi, yes, this is a insanely high price for such a small item, unfortunately production and other costs define the price as we have to purchase this though the MINI parts network and they sometimes have exceptionally high prices on some items.

I have 2009 JCW (R56) and have done a lot of work on it...and unfortunately it needs a lot of work as a cost for the fun.

I am local to Outmotoring and I am very thankful they are so responsive. They can often get parts same day and the prices are very competitive to the big online retailers and ebay. They have gotten me out of a jam more than once...and I can return parts that I did not need.

I have visited them numerous times and they have a nice showroom and top-notch operation. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Synopsis: Green is for Nitrogen!

Over the last few years there's been a major shift from filling tires with 'standard' boring air to super special Nitrogen. If your car tires were filled with Nitrogen instead of air (or was at some time) it should have GREEN valve stem covers to distinguish from those with 'boring-standard-air' filled tires. The Lorax will be quite confused and the Onceler will equally in shock that he has to now start selling Nitrogen instead of Oxygen. To get the lowdown on what I'm talking about check out this link on Wikipedia or just rent the move "The Lorax". Anyways, the cheap free type plastic valve stem covers just don't do much for making your MINI (or whatever you drive) stand out in a crowd. These have a nifty N2 logo on the end but they are a major improvement in style with the higher quality construction and design they offer. Sold as a set of 4. Available in Black or Chrome.
