Hello, My order #xxxxx. I was very happy with the quick delivery. I checked the contents-then put the box aside. When "life 's other stuff" got handled, I looked through the box again and saw the blue fob strip. First I thought it was added in error & was thinking "Crap, how do I get this back to them?" Then I saw the note from Chris. I wanted to get back and let you know how much I appreciated that. So kudos to the company and everyone that handled my order.
Now I want to buy more "stuff" for my mini!
You got a great team.
This is a review of the M12 stud conversion kit for the R53 MINI Cooper S. This is the second stud kit that I have installed. The first set was of much lessor quality and was totally worn out within six years of auto-x, track days and winter tire change-over.
These new studs appear to be far superior and slightly longer. I also like the unthreaded portion that allows lining up the nut to help prevent cross threading.
I do have one question; Do you recommend any using any lubrication on the threads of the studs?
Love your business and your attempt to service MINI owners. One suggestion for you. When you feature a produce on the front of your emails each time, you should explain just exactly what the part is, what it does, and why a MINI owner would want to replace something on their car with it. All of us are not mechanics and might not recognize a picture of a part. As you do the site now, you always put these things in there and the copy is written as though everyone knows exactly what the part is for.
Another idea, what are the types of things that many MINI owners can do with their cars in terms of customization. Your site is so vast and the number of ideas so large, it's hard for the average person to get their arms around what you offer and why we should buy. You write as though we already know what we want when we come to your site. In actuality, many MINI owners who are not car-savvy don't even know what they might be looking for.
Just when you thought you had it all...MINI goes and brings out a few pairs of shoes co designed with PUMA. Now you have to get a pair so you can feel complete and able to move on with life. I walk by the few sets in our showroom dozens of times a day and am getting closer and closer to buying a pair for own feet. I'm just overloaded with shoes at the moment and have to find a way to wear out another pair that I already own to justify getting these....I think I have about 40 pairs of shoes so you can imagine this is quite a challenge to resist.
