I had the oil light issue for about a year. Tried a new pressure sensor and that improved it, but still came on at idle after worm. SOOO happy to find a link to this item. Received in time to install prior to a planned 750 mile trip and the oil light issue is completely gone. The motor never showed any low oil pressure symptoms, so I always thought it was the sensor. But being somewhat anal, I know I was wiping out the old oil in the filter housing, so not likely broke int myself. I had two broken tabs, so it was partially working. This new unit (Thank you Outmotoring!) completely solved my problem.
