Over time the latch to keep the glove box door closed will fail and the only way to fix it is to replace the whole glovebox assembly. The newer design has a locking mechanism for added security. This product does NOT includes new lock cylinder and key. You can transfer your lock cylinder to this new part.

Shipped as a red S. Bolted on grill great. Over a few months the red S faded to chrome. Still looks cool though.
