YOU NEED THIS RETROFIT KIT! Hands down, the most useful modification ever. We just purchased a CPO F56 and it didn’t come with the load floor option. We have an older dog purchased this kit so that we would have a level floor for her on road trips. LOVE IT!

I typically drive with the new trunk floor in the lower position and that gives me plenty of storage under the lid for the dog blanket, a flashlight, umbrella, reusable grocery bags, etc. TONS OF ROOM for storage and a nice neat lid to cover the stuff I keep in the MINI. The adjustable floor (lid) is super sturdy. There is nothing flimsy about it.

Cool things I didn’t realize I’d get with the kit… 4 tie down rings! They are awesome! I have no idea what I will use them for yet but now I can bungee cord things down so they won’t slide around when I zip through town (following the speed limit, of course).

All in all, a great buy! Easy to install too, it only took about an hour.

I purchased a 2020 John Cooper Works 2 door hardtop Mini. It didn't have the Load Floor & Storage Compartment and I was so disappointed.

I contacted outmotoring to confirm this would work in my car and they confirmed it would. I did also need to purchase the two cargo adjuster arms.

I am so pleased with this kit! It was easy to install and I am beyond thrilled. It does not come with directions, but outmotoring sent a link to someones instructions (when we emailed them to ask if there were directions.) The link was very helpful. Bonus - we did it ourselves and didn't have to pay anyone to install it! It didn't even take us an hour

If your MINI F56 hatchback was built without the "load floor" (AKA 'hidden floor storage compartment') and have your heart set on it, we now offer the full retrofit kit to add this feature. This kit contains the revised left and right plastic panels, adjustable floor, brackets, mounts, adapters, bolts, and other components to retrofit the load floor option. FYI: this is also called the Storage Compartment Package 'S493A' by the dealer.

While there are no official instructions for this kit we have found this link to one of the MINI forums that will be of help during the install.

The storage compartment kit allows the included lid to be adjusted in 2 locations. The upper location will match the height of the seats as they are folded down which is perfect for loading large items. The lower setting is great for maximizing not only the space below it in the secret compartment area but will allow space for 'normal' use of the trunk area. All in all it's a fantastic kit and offers loads of flexibility to your MINI's trunk.

We have been made aware that in certain early build F56 models there were 2 types of latches that hold the rear seats upright. If your MINI does NOT have the type of brackets that allow the seat to be latched into place in 2 different angles you will need new left and right brackets (part numbers 52207317711 and 52207317712). You can tell if you have the correct brackets if you can flip the seat down and then grab the actual bracket mechanism and rotate/flip it down to allow the alternate seat latch to hold the seat back in a more upright position.

This is a great company and they strive for the best customer service. I had some little problems with both of my orders, but once I sent out an email, everything was totally fixed. My comment has to do with placing an order this weekend for less that $10 of products I tried paying with paypal three times and all three times it let me into the paypal system after logging in with my info for paypal then handed me back to your system at my shopping cart with the items still there and no order as if I never went through the process to pay with paypal. I finally opted to pay via my credit card and the system accepted the payment type and completed my order. Was this caused by a glitch in the system or what was the deal? My final order number is order #106762 which is the only one of four attempts in the end to be successful.

I am a new Mini Cooper convertible owner. The car I bought had a busted rear third brake light. The lights worked just fine, but the red plastic cover was missing. I expected it to be very expensive, however, I went on an online search and found OutMotoring.com. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had what I needed, and it was not expensive at all - far less than I expected! Other sites were charging more than twice as much! ordered it on the 12th, had it by the 15th (and I didn't pay expedited shipping).

I also need to get some replacements for the rear belt line trim...unfortunately those are a bit pricier, but still competitive with other sites.

I will definitely be ordering parts from here in the future!
