Grill Trim Set: JCW Cooper S: Black

Fit my 2012 Hatchback S perfectly. Installation was easy. I ordered extra clips and screws since the ones holding my stock chrome trim were broken. I did not need them, however, as this came with new clips and I reused the old screws.

This is a great looking product, however, It does NOT! fit 2007 R56 factory bumpers. Cars with JCW bumpers only fit this trim.

Install is very very easy and I have a 2007 R56 Cooper S. They seemed to fit mine just fine. No JCW Aero Kit

I screwed up and thoroughly appologize. I have the hypersport kit and did not read it correctly where it clearly says that it will not fit my bumper in the above description. Like I said, awesome product, but will not fit the Hypersport package.

VERY easy install on my 2008 R52 "Sidewalk" Edition.
Looks so much better than the old color matched/chrome finish.

Advantages: Everything need for install is in the package. Looks great and snaps right into place.

Disadvantages: First one arrived broken... Shipping Fault. But thanks to Aaron at Outmotoring - another one was on the way within 1 day from receiving the broken one.

Install was pretty simple. Took about 20 minutes due to the clips. Pliers helped squeeze clips together to remove them though. Front end looks much better with this than the chrome.

Install of this is fairly easy, but be careful or you'll snap the clips off the old trim (if you want to keep it that is). The top part has 4 screws to remove, and then I just gently squeezed the clips with small pliers to pry it off. Clip the new one in place and put the screws back.

The bottom piece I found troublesome. I found it easier to loosen the top of grille and push down on the 2 furthest-to-the-ends tabs whilst pulling it. You can then work across to the middle gently prying it out. New part just pushes straight in and looks great!
